Although I'm not always successful in catching big whiting, I believe I've developed a good enough technique to catch them on a regular enough basis and in this article I will share a few tips. Over the years my main objective has grown from not just catching whiting, but to catching big whiting in excess of 40cm.

I love catching whiting, I love eating whiting and most of the time I'm thinking about whiting. Whiting fishing has been a passion of mine since a very young age. Out in the boat in the cold months catching winter whiting, or wading on the flats chasing sand whiting throughout the warmer months. Although we weren't bothered with what we caught, most of the time we targeted whiting. Whether we were collecting bait, rigging rods, filleting fish or cooking our catch, every time we were doing something fishing related was a memorable time in our family. Only downfall was the worm got tore up pretty quick. Some of my fondest fishing memories come from fishing as a young child with my family, on Christmas holidays, at a town called Ballina on the NSW north coast.

Been fishing this color in a canal near my home and nailed 3 bass in 30 minutes. Never tried Salt infused worms and man the bass hit them hard. Bret, All Zoom worms are infused with salt.Ĭomments: Awesome worm, been using zoom worms and decided to try these guys. Works everywhere.Ĭomments: Good finesse worm. It's a secret color that aint secret no mo. Anyways, of course TW doesnt carry it but BB makes a color that is top half Junebug, bottom is Bubblegum. I am insane and bite into my plastics, this is how I know. I would rate a 3-4/5, only because this bait is a bit fragile, but the design is a kicker in the water.Ĭomments: No, not all Zoom baits have salt in them. I would suggest this wacky rigged for anybody just wanting to catch fish e.i. Now, they won't be sharealunkers, but they are fish. Wacky (especially), and Texas rigged will put fish in the boat.

Go get them bass! Good luck.Ĭomments: These things catch fish. Also, gotta give a huuuge shout-out for TW. Hope they work for other anglers as well as they have for me. I don't cave-in to hype from pros or from excessive advertising.just results. However, Ibass! always feel that I can rely on BBBs to produce when similar style/colors, etc. I am one who has a hard time declaring that there is a "best" anything and will hold to that opinion about this line of baits. Big Bite nailed these worms for sure!Ĭomments: I must admit that, contrary to my first impression of Big Bite Baits a few years back as being cheaper knock-offs, I now consider them to be one of my first choices in soft-baits and a full-spectrum line at that.

Been using them for awhile and caught hundreds of bass on them. Comments: All sizes of this worm catch fish, but the standout to me is the 8 inch.
